Types of Bongs Every Smoker Needs in Their Collection

Have you ever wondered which bong suits you best? Here at SIG Distro the team has come up with a list of which bongs you must have in your collection and which ones would suit you best depending on your needs.

Bong Materials

Glass

Glass bongs are the most popular in the market, it provides a clean and pure taste since the glass doesn't affect the quality of the smoke. Glass is also very easy to clean since it is transparent and you can always monitor the resin buildup, and for that reason most glass bongs are more expensive than other materials

Plastic

Plastic bongs are second most popular, they are fairly cheap and they don't break, the only thing you should be worrying about if it drops, is the water stain on your carpet. Plastic bongs are also easy to travel with since they'd not break easily like glass or ceramic. The only downside is that the plastic might affect the quality of the smoke.

Ceramic

Ceramic bongs are not very easy to work with even though they come in all different shapes, sizes and color since clay is very malleable. Ceramic bongs are very hard to travel with since thy can break at any time, and they are more expensive than plastic bongs because of the time put into making them. Even though a ceramic bong may not be your daily, it would be nice to have one for special occasions or a decor.

Metal

Metal bongs are not very common even though they are super durable and long lasting, they are also fairly cheap. The only downside top metal bongs is that you' never know when to clean them since they're metal and they do affect the quality of the smoke.

Silicone

Silicone bongs are easy to clean and nothing ever sticks to them, they also deliver clean hits and don't hold onto smells or flavor. just as much as plastic, silicone bongs are very durable and hard to break. They have a fair price and are very good to travel with.

Bong Designs

Beaker

Beaker bongs are very common, the bottom is flared into a cone shape that looks like a beaker. Beaker bongs are very stable because they have a larger base which makes them hard to drop.

Straight tube Bong

Straight tube bongs are also common, they are the simplest design available, they are just straight. They consist of a simple tube sealed at one end with a stem and a bowl poking out of the side.

 Multi-Chamber Bong

Multi-chamber bongs also known as recyclers, the straight tube is separated into two chambers connected by a tube or third chamber. That makes them more expensive than the simpler builds on this list. Multi-chamber bongs are also harder to cleanse nd for that reason most people add ash catchers to them.

Percolator Bong

Percolator bongs are straight tube, beaker shaped, or pretty much any shape. The thing that makes them unique is that they contain a percolator. A percolator is is a piece of glass that dissipates the smoke before it passes through the water and causes a bubbling effect in the bong.
